Project Outline

York University Conferences & Events needed a professional suite of digital content to showcase their venues across all campuses.

The goal was to strengthen YCE’s brand image, demonstrate the flexibility of their spaces, and provide long-lasting video assets for use on the website and social media.

The message was clear: promoters and booking agents should see YCE as the ideal partner for conferences and events of all forms.

The Challenge

The brief required a single cinematic hero film, encompassing the key elements of all of YCE facilities, to serve as an advert and a marketing asset to be sent out to prospective clients.

Additionally, a full bank of supporting content was required, so individual drone fly-throughs of each space, to short-form vertical clips to generate digital engagement.

The challenge was to capture the customer journey and the versatility of each space in a way that felt dynamic, engaging, and professional, while maximising value through delivering a large set of assets from one shoot.

The Solution

A multi-layered production approach:
• Cinematic showcase film (60–90 seconds) highlighting both campuses with sweeping aerials, dynamic FPV drone interiors, and staged use-case scenarios.
• Short-form vertical edits optimised for social, including aerial drone shots and fast-cut highlights.
• Individual fly-throughs of two key buildings, giving booking agents an immersive feel of the spaces.
• Photography assets pulled directly from the video, ensuring the content bank was versatile across formats.

This approach gave YCE the flexibility to use the content across multiple channels without needing separate shoots.

The result

The final delivery included 16 professional videos - a full content library for YCE.

The main showcase film established a strong visual identity for the brand, while the short-form edits provided engaging, platform-ready content. The production delivered exceptional ROI, providing York University Conferences & Events with the assets to consistently market their venues to new clients and booking agents for years to come.
